- Water shoes or Chacos if you plan to swim in the James River
- Umbrella for afternoon pop-up thunderstorms
- Comfortable walking shoes — the Fan and Carytown are walkable neighborhoods
- Bug spray for evenings near the river

Most convenient. Pickup at ground transportation level.

Flat rate to downtown.
- GRTC bus (Route 7A)$1.5045 min
Cheapest but infrequent (~30 min). No Sunday service.
Amtrak's Main Street Station is in Shockoe Bottom — walkable to most downtown hotels. Often better than flying for East Coast trips.
